Help for the Directory View: 1/1
Type to see more of the message title and keywords then to return.
Type ENTER to see an expanded view of the entire message header.
Function keys isolate different groups of files:
F1=All F2=Mine F3=Bulletins F4=Logs F5=Downloaded F6=Auto D/L F7=Grab
The column headed 'S' shows the status of the message.
A Automatically download the message (including hole fill).
P Priority automatic downloading.
g Grab this message if it is overheard.
n Never save the message even if it is overheard.
E Permanent auto download error.
e Temporary auto download error.
■ The message has been completely downloaded.
The 'cursor' is a hilighted message number on the left side of the screen.
You can move the cursor with the up- and down-arrow keys. When the cursor is
on a particular message, you can change the status of the message by typing
a character A, P, G or N. The status will be changed appropriately.

PB Main screen contains the following windows:
MENU on the top line = Menu of main choices;
ACTIVE WINDOW in the upper left = Messages currently being received;
MESSAGE WINDOW in the upper right = PB reports its actions to you;
DOWNLINK WINDOW in the lower portion of the screen = Received frames;
STATUS BAR on the bottom line = Various important things.
Important menu selections are:
View Dir - Type the V key to leave the main screen view the message directory.
Quit - Type the Q key to leave PB completely and return from DOS.
Info. - Type the I key to see some of your configuration information.

On the STATUS BAR :
Dir: up-to-date
The directory is complete, and the satellite has recently been checked
for new messages.
Dir: old
The directory is complete, but the satellite hasn't been checked recently
for new messages. If you have automatic mode enabled, the directory will
be updated after any messages you have requested are downloaded.
Dir: part. (x)
The directory is being updated, and some entries are missing. If you have
atuomatic mode enabled, then the directory will be automatically brought
up-to-date.

On the STATUS BAR :
Auto: Idle
The automatic mode is enabled, but not currently working on anything.
This is updated everytime a PBLIST packet is heard (about 10 seconds).
Auto: Dir
The automatic mode is enabled and it is updating your directory.
Auto: xxxx
The automatic mode is enabled and downloading message xxxx.
Auto: Disabled
The automatic mode is disabled. Type ctrl-A to enable it.
b: Counts the bytes of broadcast messages you have received this pass.
d: Counts the bytes of directory broadcasts you have received this pass.
e: Counts the number of serial communications errors.

Although it is easiest to select messages for downloading from the directory
view window, you can do it from the main menu:
A - Sets a message for automatic downloading.
F - Sends one hole fill request for a certain message.
N - Sets a message so that it will never be downloaded.
G - Sets a message so that it will be downloaded if it is overheard.
P - Sets a message for high priority downloading.
